Zyban link to suicide

Amfebutamone (Zyban) may have contributed to the suicide of a student, a coroner said yesterday. The Nottingham Trent University student, who had taken the drug for a week, stopped when he felt an immediate "change within himself" and suffered bouts of depression. Six months later he was found dead. The Cheshire coroner said the effects of Zyban might have contributed to the youth's decision to kill himself.
